This HCV Action good practice case study focuses on Nottingham University Hospitals Trust's Homecare treatment delivery project. The project offered patients the option to receive treatment for hepatitis C in their own homes. Good practice case study: Nottingham outreach clinics
This HCV Action good practice case study looks at the community outreach work done by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Statistics showed that between 2000 and 2002, 256 people were diagnosed with hepatitis C in Nottingham. Of these, just 49% were referred to a specialist clinic, 27% attended and 10% received treatment. During the 2010-12 period, after the establishment of community outreach services in the area, 80% of people diagnosed were referred to a specialist clinic, 70% attended and 38% started treatment.UK, East Midlands Case study PDF

On Friday 10th February 2017, HCV Action and NHS England held a Midlands & East Hepatitis C Educational Event in Nottingham. HCV Action good practice film: CQUIN scheme in the East Midlands
This HCV Action good practice film looks at the Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN) scheme which was established in the East Midlands in 2009. Running until 2013, the scheme rewarded local treating hospitals for sharing their data on the treatment adherence and sustained virological response (SVR) rates of their patients, and was extremely successful in highlighting, for example, where additional resources or focus were required.
