With only three years to go to NHS England's 2025 elimination target, the aim of this HCV Action webinar was to share information about the latest data on hepatitis C, what we can observe about trends from what we already have, and what types of further data collection we need to fill gaps in our current knowledge and guide efforts. It included speakers from NHS England, the UK Health Security Agency, The Hepatitis C Trust, and Hep C U Later.
Reframing Reinfection: towards sustained hepatitis C elimination in the UK (2022)

Download
A joint effort by HCV Action and The Hepatitis C Trust, this report sets out to understand what the NHS and frontline services who work with people at risk of hepatitis C are seeing in relation to reinfection, what is already being done, and what more we might put in place locally and nationally to address this.
We hope this report will be able to contribute to the national understanding of reinfections and support efforts to eliminate hepatitis C with tailored recommendations on how it might be more effectively addressed in future. As we move towards elimination and the 2030 goal, the recommendations in this report look to ensure that elimination will be a sustainable and maintainable change in practice, which will continue to support and serve the vulnerable and often under-served communities affected by hepatitis C.
