This annual national report describes trends in the extent of infections and associated risks and behaviours among people who inject drugs in the UK to the end of 2014. Among its findings are that:
- Two in five of those people in the UK who inject psychoactive drugs are living with hepatitis C, with around half of these infections remaining undiagnosed.
- Changing patterns of psychoactive drug injection are increasing the risk of infection.
