This HCV Action good practice case study focuses on Nottingham University Hospitals Trust's Homecare treatment delivery project. The project offered patients the option to receive treatment for hepatitis C in their own homes. Good practice case study: ITTREAT (Integrated community-based Test – stage – TREAT)
This HCV Action good practice case study summarises a 4-year Integrated Test-stage and TREAT (ITTREAT) community project in Brighton, where a specialist hepatitis nurse was appointed to lead a ‘one-stop’ holistic hepatitis C service - including testing, assessment of liver scarring, education and treatment - within a community-based substance misuse service.

Business case template: ITTREAT (Integrated community-based Test – stage – TREAT)
Following a successful 4-year project evaluation in Brighton, the ITTREAT team have produced a commissioning business case template based on their project, intended for use to secure funding for a specialist hepatitis C nurse and develop an integrated community-based hepatitis C service to engage PWID. The template is available for download in word and is designed to be locally amended.

Eliminating Hepatitis C in England
In September 2017, the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Liver Health launched an inquiry into achieving the elimination of hepatitis C in England. Three oral evidence sessions were held in October, featuring a range of expert stakeholders answering questions from APPG members. The APPG also received written submissions of evidence from individuals and organisations. Following the inquiry this report, 'Eliminating Hepatitis C in England', was produced, gathering the evidence received and setting out recommendations for action to ensure a hepatitis C-free England.England Reports & Research, Strategy & Planning PDF
