This report from Public Health England reveals that there were 16,005 confirmed laboratory reports of hepatitis C in England and Wales during 2019. The demographic breakdown of individuals with reported hepatitis C per quarter was relatively consistent with more reports among males and in the 35 to 44 year old age group.
